Fridge Magnet of Trinidad Roofs
Colorful souvenirs are the ones that we all buy compared to others. This Fridge Magnet with a picture of the traditional Trinidad roofs is a must have in your collection. The image captures every small detail of the tiles lining the roofs that are shown in the picture. From their color to size, every small detail has been captured as if one was looking at them in real life. With even the shabbiness of the roofs apparent in the image, this souvenir is a larger than life depiction of the Trinidad skyline with the small houses dotting the large landscape.
The Town of Trinidad
Trinidad is one of the most visited historical towns of Cuba. Not only does this city have some very famous landmarks, it is also home to the oldest church in Cuba. Trinidad has very popular monuments such as the ‘Museo de la Lucha Contra Bandidos, Convento de San Francisco, Playa Ancon, Plaza Mayor and the Museo Histórico Municipal’. Within the small alleyways of Trinidad are century old buildings that house museums with artifacts that are themselves a story of the past. Small parks and public spaces are a characteristic of this town. They are thronged with tourists who take a break from exploring and laze in the sun on a warm day.
The Tower of St. Francis Covent Church, Trinidad
Towering over the entire town is this Tower of St. Francis. Colored in yellow and green, the landscape and far off hills can be seen if one goes up the bell tower of this church. There is a museum within the church as well. Together with the tower, Trinidad is a World Heritage Site as ranked by UNESCO.
