Description

They Are in Love

You don't need to be in a relationship to get this magnet souvenir from Antarctica, but it probably helps. It's like something you would see in a Valentine's Day card. Because one thing is undeniable: these two penguins love each other. It almost looks like a screensaver or wallpaper for a computer. The simplicity of the color tones involved are also great for a fridge as it makes it a subtle yet almost quaint souvenir. Penguins are lovely animals that have been used by artists to create playful stories for children and adults. So, this travel souvenir makes perfect sense as it depicts penguins in a human pose.

Gentoo Penguins in Detail

This species is funny to watch so it is no wonder that the two penguins are creating a romantic scene. Gentoo usually walk in a funny way as they move around swaying their pink tail which is unique to this species. Their way of calling throwing their body backwards is a joy for tourists who love taking a photograph of them. However, their habits don't differ from those of other species. They love swimming underwater. In Winter, they prefer to live on icebergs but during breeding season they opt for the land where they build their nests. Females lay two eggs and both parents incubate them for almost a month. The newborns stay at home for approximately twenty days and after another two months they go out to sea. This is a great travel souvenir to give your sweetheart back home.
