An Unbelievable Experience
These constructions happen to be aligned with the sun and the moon, what shows the Chacoans; complex knowledge of astronomy. The buildings are huge and reveal the mind of an architect behind their design. The complex is divided into different Pueblos, one of the most visited is Pueblo Bonito, because of the huge surface it covers and of the sophistication of the construction as there are buildings with several stories. Other Pueblos worth visiting include Pueblo del Arroyo, Chetro Keti and Pueblo Alto. Quite surprinsingly, these Pueblos were abandoned in the Twelfth century. Researchers think that this massive migration was a consequence of scarce or no rain.
