Description

The Picturesque Chase County Lake In Kansas Pictured On An Acrylic Fridge Magnet

The countryside reflections of Kansas are perfectly captured on this attractive acrylic fridge magnet from the catalogues of World Wide Gifts. The blue, brown, and gold make for a very tranquil scene. The lake is a body of water for fishing which was constructed in 1954 approximately three miles away from the city of Cottonwood Falls. It has an area of one hundred and nine acres and is surrounded by a wildlife area of three hundred and eighty three acres where you can spend a pleasant day watching such wildlife as white-tailed deer, rabbits, and quail. Boating on the lake itself is restricted to those fishing and there are also several fishing piers available around the lake.

Visiting Cottonwood Falls And Chase County Lake In Kansas

The Chase County Lake is a venue for fishing, hunting, or just admiring the scenery or the wildlife. Approximately three miles down the road is the city of Cottonwood Falls which was first settled in 1854 and is a small city; home to less than one thousand residents. Cottonwood Falls has several historic buildings including the Chase County Courthouse which was designed by John G Haskell, and designed in 1873. The Chase County area around Cottonwood Falls and Chase County Lake is perfect for a trip if you like the colours of nature as can be seen from the picture on our attractive acrylic fridge magnet.
