Quantum Leaf - A unique Memento
Quantum leaf is a unique attraction of Des Moines, the capital city of Iowa and hence its vinyl fridge magnet souvenir is a must-obtainable memento. 15 feet in diameter and 11 feet in height, it looks like a huge dying leaf, with curled edges. It is placed in a fountain with water pouring from the leaf into a circular pond. Artist Sally Vagliano Pettus sculpted this unique sculpture. The city was originally founded in 1843 and was named "Fort Raccoon".
