The Beautiful Tenaya Lake In Yosemite National Park, California Pictured On An Attractive Acrylic Fridge Magnet
Tenaya Lake is a popular tourist attraction in Yosemite National Park. A beautiful alpine lake it is used by people for kayaking, sailing, and canoeing. Swimming is also permitted but the waters of the lake are very cold. For those not at home on the water hiking the two miles around the lake provides lovely views across the water. At the east end of the lake is a beach which can be used for sunbathing in the summer months. Fishermen also visit the waters where many species of trout can be caught. Fishing is permitted all year round at Tenaya. It can be seen that there is plenty to occupy visitors at Lake Tenaya but the beauty of the waters themselves are enough for it be a big attraction as can be seen from the view captured on our acrylic fridge magnet.
The Scenic Waters Of Yosemite National Park
Tenaya Lake is a popular site itself and there is plenty to occupy visitors but for those wanting to see more of Yosemite's waters there is a hiking trail which links Tenaya with the three Sunrise Lakes that lie beneath the northern slopes of Sunrise Mountain. The scenery surrounding the lakes is picturesque with meadows, white boulders, and wild flowers scattered about the area. Several small streams trickle across the ground and the vistas across the mountain provide an amazing backdrop. The hike is both level and steep in various parts and takes approximately half a day to complete. Whether people choose just to visit Lake Tenaya, or to venture further afield, the view is amazing, as can be seen from the picture on our attractive acrylic fridge magnet.
