It's Always France

This magnet souvenir from France features a charming scene with lively colors that work well to bring to light the innocence and European charm that draws travelers from all over the world to Western Europe. However, the attire of the characters presented in this piece give clues that there is a French influence.

Paris is the city of and to love. Filmmakers know this and have set many stories in the city. Perhaps the best way to think about love in Paris is through some of the movies filmed here.

I Love Paris

Jean-Pierre Jeunet filmed Amelie in the historical neighborhood of Montmartre, where artists and writers lived in the first half of the Twentieth century. Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Luis Bunuel, Ernst Hemimgway. The films shows this beautiful neighborhood through its colorful neighbors and intriguing streets and buildings. The protagonist, Amelie, creates a playful environment to which adults and kids can connect.

Another film shot in Paris, Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris presents the intellectual ambience that Montmartre once experienced. This film introduces the viewer not only to that selected group of artists and writers which included Pablo Picasso, Salvado Dali, Luis Bunuel, Scott Fitzgerald, and many others, but also to Paris. As the protagonist couple make preparations for their wedding and the groom gets lost in the Paris of the 1920's, the viewer has a chance to know some emblematic spots such as neigborhood Montmantre, Palace of Versalles, the cafes and Champs Elysees.

Breathless, the classical film by Jean-Luc Godard shows in black and white the Paris of the 1950's as a love story and a thriller, as the film progresses we love the city and its hidden spots. And of course the kids' favorite Ratatouille! There is no better way to show Paris back home than this voyage souvenir!
