Zebra - One of the Most Popular African Wilderness

Zebras with their distinctive black and white stripes actually belong to the horse family. The most interesting fact is the stripes on every zebra have a different pattern that is unique. Moreover, modern research and embryological evidence has found out that the background color on a zebra's body is black and the white stripes and bellies are additions, which contradicts the previously believed that zebras were white animals with black stripes. The zebra depicted on the vinyl fridge magnet is an enamoring souvenir for wildlife lovers. If you visited Africa and loved the zebras then this souvenir is for you.

Africa is the second largest Continent on earth, approximately 11.7 million square miles. It consists of almost half of the earth's species of animals and plants. It is home to more than 1100 mammal species. Of the lizards, many species of geckos (day geckos), Agamas, skinks plated lizards and some monitor lizards are common. There are 12 genera and 58 species of African amphibians.
