Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, the city built for gambling and good times! World renowned as the place to go for the most enjoyable entertainments, “Sin City” –as she's fondly nicknamed- welcomes millions of people every year who make Las Vegas their destination for delight. There's nowhere else on earth quite like it, and nowhere else that provides so many attractions to its guests. Vegas offers every gambling game under the sun, along with non-stop entertainment and a continuous flow of beverages in extravagant setting.
After enjoying all the dice you can throw and all the drinks you can handle, it's always great fun to pick up a few mementos of your trip to the city known as the Entertainment Capital of the World. There are all sorts of neat souvenirs that visitors like to collect and give as gifts, like tee shirts that say “I “Heart” Las Vegas,” or even tees with the famous slogan, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” Tourists in Vegas also enjoy bringing home useful keepsakes, like Las Vegas souvenir shot glasses that display images of some of the most famous attractions, or coffee mugs imprinted with dice or fireworks. Some Las Vegas souvenirs are a little more unique, however, and make fantastic memorabilia from a visit to this exciting city. Here are a few of the favorite souvenirs from Las Vegas that people really seem to enjoy:
1. Your Own Welcome Sign
Miniature Las Vegas welcome signs are one of the top souvenir sellers for thousands of happy Vegas visitors. The iconic diamond-shaped sign has been the first sight for people approaching the Las Vegas Strip since 1959, welcoming visitors with those famous words: “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada.” Small lighted replicas of the welcome sign make great souvenirs, and you'll also get the opportunity to buy many other types of relics that display the famous sign, including tee shirts, coffee mugs, tote bags, playing cards and more.
2. Dice on a Clock
After you spend all your time (and a lot of money?) at the craps table, you'll get a kick out of a timepiece that uses dice to tell the hour. Las Vegas souvenir dice clocks come in a variety of designs, many of which feature the same neon enhancements you'll see all over the city, and the dice clocks make great reminders of a visit to the gaming tables in Sin City.
3. Knickknacks and Tchotchkes
Novelty items always make wonderful souvenirs, and there are a wide variety of unusual and extraordinary items that represent this city. How about a roulette wheel ashtray, or a casino piggy bank?
4. Elvis Presley Mementos
Elvis was the king of rock and roll in the 70s, and the Las Vegas Hilton was the sight of more than 837 sold-out performances by the King. Elvis sunglasses with built-in sideburns are a favorite Vegas souvenir, but there are lots of different Elvis keepsakes available, so take your pick!
5. Souvenir Spouse
A spouse? Well… getting married in Las Vegas seems to be a very popular activity, and there seem to be a lot of people who go home with a new husband or wife. After all, in addition to being the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas is also the Marriage Capital, maybe because of the “no-wait” marriage license policy and the wedding chapels on every corner.
