The traditional men's costume of the peoples of the Caucasus is durable, comfortable, does not restrict movement, and, at the same time, emphasizes slimness and fit. Its distinctive feature is two rows of small pockets, in which tubes with gunpowder (gazyri) were placed, and later - cartridges. In peacetime, these pockets are purely decorative, and the gazyri have become just an elegant accessory with a silver or brass finish. A fur cape (burka) protected from bad weather and injuries, it was possible to hide in it yourself and hide the kidnapped bride. A papakha is the pride of every horseman, this headdress is made of high-quality fur and in some countries is an official attribute of the military uniform of the highest ranks.
