History of the Church
At the time of its establishment, the church measured 26 x 40 feet. It was expanded during 1884 and 1885 as the congregation had increased in huge numbers. Again, the building underwent renovations and was further enlarged during 1901. With the passage of time, more changes were made to the church such as the addition of a podium and altar chairs that were unavailable before. Until the 1950s, the Trinity United Methodist Church was deprived of a basement. The minister and the church's congregation created a basement themselves during 1950s by digging out the ground using a shovel and pick.
