The Incredible Sight Of Holei Sea Arch, Volcano National Park, Hawaii Pictured On An Acrylic Fridge Magnet
The cliffs of the island of Hawaii contain various lava rocks that, over time, have been worn and shaped by the waves and tides. The unusual shapes formed as a result are numerous but they are not all easily viewable. At the end of the Chain of Craters road lies Holei Sea Arch which is a perfect example of where the power of the ocean has shaped the rocks. The picture on this acrylic fridge magnet, from the catalogues of World Wide Gifts, perfectly captures this amazing sight, formed by nature.
Volcano National Park In Hawaii, A Lovely Place To Visit
The Volcano National Park in Hawaii is a place where the forces of nature and the Earth itself can be seen in all of their glory. The park is home to two of the most active volcanoes in the world Kilauea and Mauna Loa. The prolific Kilauea produces enough lava to resurface a twenty mile long, two lane road each day. The Kilauea Caldera is circled by the Crater Rim Road which is 10.6 miles long. Also in the park is the Chain of Craters Road which allows visitors to explore the coastal areas. The road descends three thousand seven hundred feet over its twenty mile length and ends where a lava flow has blocked its path. It is this road which visitors travel down to see the amazing Holei Sea Arch as depicted on our attractive acrylic fridge magnet.
