Large Kitchen Magnet Depicting Mount Rushmore National Memorial

Remember your visit to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial with this large vinyl magnet! Depicting the monument in crisp photographical detail and vivid color, this magnet will make it feel as though you have a window on the memorial right in your home! The magnet's image is particularly striking in that it juxtaposes the rough crags and crevices of the surrounding mountain with the smooth, polished surface of the sculpture, thereby highlighting its beauty and degree of artistic accomplishment. Even if you haven't been to Mount Rushmore yet, this magnet will make a welcome addition to your collection and might even give you some ideas for a summer vacation! And of course magnets are very useful to have around the house-especially a large one made of vinyl, which will last a long time and stick all sorts of things from large to small to the door of your fridge.

Mount Rushmore: An American Treasure

They say that Americans like everything to be big, and the Mount Rushmore National Memorial certainly supports such an assertion! Carved directly into the side of the mountain, the four presidential heads are 18 meters in height. Each of the presidents depicted are considered among the United States' greatest: there is George Washington, hero of the Revolutionary War, Founding Father of the Unites States, and its first President; Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration of Independence, served as America's third President, and made the Louisiana Purchase, vastly expanding the territory of the US; Theodore Roosevelt, the famous "Cowboy President", who served as the 26th President of the United States and oversaw the completion of the Panama Canal; and Abraham Lincoln, 16th President and celebrated for bringing an end to the institution of slavery in the United States.
